Actress to take on X-Men as a mutant assassin

A little-known actress is the latest lethal component in the “X-Men” movie franchise.
Mei Melancon has joined the cast of “X-Men 3” as the evil mutant assassin Psylocke.
Melancon worked with “X-Men 3″ director Brett Ratner on ”Rush Hour 2” and appeared on HBO’s “Deadwood.”
Word began leaking last week from the Vancouver, British Columbia, set that the latest ”X-Men” installment would introduce the comic-book character Psylocke, best known for her fighting and telepathic skills as well as an ability to transport herself and others through shadows.
In the film, she will fight against the X-Men as a member of Magneto’s Brotherhood of Mutants.
Pero no sé si va a convencer la actriz (quizá mejor hubieran contratado a la Gashapona…).
